В отличие от аналогичных систем, она обеспечивает надежную регулировку давления, создаваемого в грудной клетке пациента, и осуществляет цифровой (и бесшумный) мониторинг критических показателей лечения. Данные клинических исследований показали, что системы дренажа грудной клетки Medela улучшают результаты лечения и упрощают оказание медицинской помощи.
